Transgender Day of Visibility 2026

Published by Ray Garnett on

The Berkshire Queer History Project’s Transgender Day of Visibility Screening in particular was a special project to Ephraim, and now, in his honor, I’m trying to continue the project.

The last times I saw Ephraim were for three interviews for this screening. We intended on recording a fourth interview. Instead, we are reaching back into our archive to share parts of an interview Ephraim reluctantly recorded two years ago. When I watched it, I saw a past Ephraim, one who had since grown immensely into himself with confidence.

So, for this Transgender Day of Visibility, the screening will start with a selection from our last interviews by Ephraim Alexander Schwartz with justin adkins, Landon Marchant, and Oak Bresett. Next, we will share parts from Ephraim’s interview two years ago. Then, we are inviting friends and community members to share their memories and thoughts about Ephraim Alexander Schwartz. I hope to record anyone who is willing (and signs our release form!) We will have a strict two minute limit per person at the event, but anyone who would like to record a longer interview is invited to share contact information for the Berkshire Queer History Project for the future.

Many thanks to Berkshire Pride and Wander for helping to make this event still happen. Special thanks to Dagger Day for video editing. And thanks to the many folks in the community who have supported me, and each other, in the wake of this sudden loss.
