Youth and Young Adults
The Railroad Street Youth Project offers the Live out Loud program, which provides young people ages 14 – late 20’s with the opportunity to meet gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and allied youth.
The Queer Student Association (QSA) at Berkshire Community College (BCC) is committed to providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ students in the BCC community. It is a judgement-free zone for any student in need of support regarding their sexual orientation or identity.
Roots Teen Center seeks to support Berkshire County youth ages 13 – 19 through various efforts, such as offering programs providing connection with the local LGBTQ+ community.
Safe Spaces at 18 Degrees hosts the Live Out Loud Youth Project (LOLYP), the Young Adult Affinity Group (YAAG), and more.
Connecting With the Community
The Berkshire Resources for Integration of Diverse Groups through Education (BRIDGE) is a grassroots organization dedicated to advancing equity and justice by promoting cultural competence, positive psychology, and mutual understanding and acceptance.
A peer discussion/empowerment group for people who are trans, non-binary, genderqueer, or gender-questioning.
Seeing Rainbows collaborates to build sustainable and supportive trans community by producing and presenting liberating art, performances, installations and other experiences by and for queer / trans / Jewish / BIPOC / disabled / fat / other marginalized persons, on unceded Mohican lands and the Berkshires and beyond
The Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention (BCSP) is a grassroots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing suicide prevention resources, loss and healing programs, professional trainings, advocacy efforts and hope to our local community. BCSP helps sponsor the Live Out Loud Conference every year.
Hope, help, and healing for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer people surviving domestic and sexual violence in Berkshire County and the surrounding areas.

Queer Men of the Berkshire (Q-MoB) empowers queer men in the greater Berkshire region to create, find, & participate in activity/support groups, classes, & resources that foster community, wellness, & fun.

Berkshire County’s annual public LGBTQ+ Pride celebration, in June in Pittsfield, MA.
North Adams Pride is a community organization which helps provide opportunities to celebrate and spotlight LGBTQIA+ residents, visitors, and businesses in the Northern Berkshires.
Live Out Loud Community Conference is Berkshire County’s annual community conference to strengthen our understanding and advocacy of the LGBTQIA+ population.
